Year 1

Welcome to year 1. From parents, carers, pupils and school staff we are all one team working together to support each child on their learning journey.

Throughout our learning journey each child is offered the opportunity to take part in a range of activities including; a local area walk, forest school, a zoo trip, cooking and a visit from a local super hero (and all that alongside the learning that takes place in the classroom.) Year 1 is the time where the children are learning to develop their independence as well as their reading, writing and counting skills.
