Wednesday 29th April

Here is today’s Learning at Home. Remember, to try your best! We believe in you! #BoundaryBelieves

In the story Supertato Veggies Assemble all the veggies become ‘super’! Why not make your own veggies at home into superhero’s? Listen to the story and look for ideas!

Click on the link.

Draw a picture of your veggie super hero (or even make it using a vegetable), label it and then give your super veggie a name. Can you write a sentence about your veggie’s super powers. What might these be? For example, super squishing power or the power to make people smile or maybe he has a super tickler! Don’t forget to give your super hero a mask and cape!

In maths today, children can enjoy spotting patterns and making patterns with lots of different things, including themselves.

Adults could provide a ’pattern of the day’ with objects for children to copy, extend and create their own. They could make deliberate mistakes for children to spot.

You can use, coloured cubes, beads, small toys, leaves and twigs, printing and sticking shapes, pegboards, mirrors, construction materials, long strips of paper for making patterns.

We have been looking at keeping fit this week and exercising is another way to stay healthy! Why not put on your favourite music and dance along! How does this make you feel? Can you feel your heart beat? Is it beating faster? Are you feeling warmer? Why do you think these changes are happening to your body when you exercise?
