Please read the attached PDF carefully which provides full details on all of today’s activities. A brief description has been provided below. Remember you all have the necessary log in details required. They are inside the front cover of your home learning books.

     Morning Home Learning Activities

  1. Morning Maths – Watch Step 6 ‘Recognise a Third’ video on the White Rose website, you will find it under the Week 2 headings. (Click Here). Then complete the directed task called ‘Wednesday 1st April Fractions Lesson 6- ‘Recognise a Third’ on seesaw in your Maths Home Learning Book.
  2. English Writing – Building upon our learning this week you have been given a debate. Click on the assigned task ‘Wednesday 1st April Reading into Writing – Arguments’ on Seesaw. Here you will find an argument which has positive and negative examples from different points of view. “Should dogs be kept on leads in parks?” In your home learning book write the title of the argument and share your opinion. You need to decide if you agree or disagree with the argument. You need to give clear reasons for your opinion and discuss the positives and the negatives. Make sure you use full sentences.
  1. Guided Reading – Please login into Seesaw and click the activity called ‘Wednesday 1st April- Guided Reading’ then record your written task in your home learning book.

Afternoon Activities

  1. Mental Maths – Go on hit the button and practise your 2,5,10 ‘Division answer questions’ for 15 minutes. Challenges yourself with all the different activities. This task has been set up on seesaw called ‘Mental Maths (Hit the Button) this will help log your scores.
  2. Chosen 1 afternoon activity – Choose your own activity from the list provided in your Home Learning pack. Don’t forget to take a picture of what you did and upload it on Seesaw for us to see and shade in the square when you have done it.
