Wake up and shake up! Click here to warm up for the day with Cosmic Kids Yoga.
Phonics Click here to learn the ‘ew; sound with Geraldine then log into seesaw and complete the sound activity.
Challenge – can you think of any other words that have the ‘ew’ sound? Write a list of them in your book or voice record them on seesaw.
Writing – It’s good to be me! Click here to sing and sign along to ‘It’s good to be me’
Todays writing is all about you! Talk to an adult about the things you like, things you do no like, what you are good at and what you would like to be better at.
In your book, write at least 5 sentence that all about you. Remember to use capital letters, finger spaces and full stops. Challenge yourself to use the word ‘because’. Take your time to say words out loud slowly to hear the sounds you need. Finish by drawing a picture of yourself. Take a photo of your writing and upload to seesaw for your teacher to see. Log into seesaw and have a look at Mrs Hopwood’s ‘It’s good to be me work’.
Then complete the times table counting activity on seesaw
Challenge – Log into your MyMaths and complete todays challenge – you may need to use objects to help you to solve these tricky problems : )
Reading Log in to oxford owls and read one of your books. Record yourself on seesaw telling us what you did or did not like about the book and why. Parents you can log onto Oxford Owl and create an account – it is free. Then search for E books, and choose phonics level 2, 3 or 5 depending on you child. Your child’s phonics level is also in the letter information pack you received
Chosen afternoon activity – Choose your own activity from the list and complete it in your busy book. Feel free to send us any pictures on seesaw of your learning. Logon to seesaw to see the fun music making activity.
