Morning Home Learning Activities
Morning Maths – Watch step 11 ‘Find Three Quarters’ video on the White Rose website (Click Here). Then complete the directed task called ‘Thursday 9th April- Fractions Lesson 11- Find Three Quarters’ on seesaw in your Maths Home Learning Book.
English Writing – It’s time to put your Superheroes to work. An evil, super villain called Professor Strange has an army of warriors ready to unleash to the world. He’s waiting on a hidden meteor which is fastly approaching earth. Your superhero is the only person that can help. Can you stop him? Write a short story in your home learning book describing how you defeated the evil Professor Strange.
On Seesaw click the assigned activity ‘Superhero Story WAGOLL’. Here you will find a WAGOLL to help you.
Guided Reading – Please login into Seesaw and click the activity called ‘Thursday 9th April- Guided Reading’ then record your written task in your home learning book.
Spelling Shed – Watch a video (Click Here) which look at the suffix ‘ful and less’. Then test your knowledge and log into spelling shed (Click Here) and complete the ‘ful and less suffix’ spelling assignment which has been set for you. Miss Ward and Mrs Fielding are looking forward to see who will be at the top of the Year 2 leader board.
Chosen 1 afternoon activity – Choose your own activity from the list provided in your Home Learning pack. Don’t forget to take a picture of what you did and upload it on Seesaw for us to see.
