Science

Science aims to ensure that all pupils develop scientific knowledge and conceptual understanding through the specific disciplines of biology, chemistry and physics. We provide pupils with the opportunity to “work scientifically”. There are plenty of opportunities to develop scientific enquiry such as pattern seeking, classifying and grouping and fair testing.

Science is a key aspect of the National Curriculum which relates to many other subject areas. It allows children the opportunity to explore and understand the world around them and the uses and impact of science today and for the future.
