Morning Home Learning Activities
- Morning Maths – For today’s learning please login to My Maths https://www.mymaths.co.uk/. You will find activities to complete in the homework area when you login. We will be able to see your answers and marks, please make sure you reply to every question and click submit at the end so it saves all your answers. You can attempt these tasks more than once, so if you want to try and improve your score you can.
- English Writing – Log into Seesaw click on the task ‘Monday 8th June Reading into Writing’. Today you have been given an image, have a look at the image and discuss with an adult what you think it might be about. Then using the table can you spot the similarities and differences between the red spotted man and everyone else in the image? Think about how they might be both feeling and where they could be going. I have given you some examples to start you off. Then write a short story of what you think has happened. Use the WAGOLL to help you. Don’t forget to present your work neatly, spelling known words correctly and using and applying the appropriate punctuation.
- Guided Reading – Please login into Seesaw and click the activity called ‘Monday 8th June- Guided Reading’ then record your written task in your English Home Learning Book.
Afternoon Weekly Project – This week we are going to be looking at healthy eating. Log into Seesaw and click the activity ‘Food Glorious Food’. Here you will find a 6 different activities to complete at home throughout the week and by the end of the week we want you to help an adult at home prepare a healthy meal for you all to enjoy. Remember the activities don’t all need to be completed at once.
However, it also means you must help with the washing up as ensuring everything is clean and tidy is very important when preparing meals.
Don’t forget to take a picture and send it to us to have a look at. Miss Ward and Miss fielding are excited to see the recipes you all come up with.
Don’t forget to take pictures of your work when asked to and upload them to seesaw so Miss Ward and Mrs Fielding can see the fantastic work you’ve been up to. If you have any questions or queries, please email Miss Ward (email@example.com) and Mrs Fielding (firstname.lastname@example.org) who will be more than happy to help.
