Year 5
Welcome to Year 5!
Year 5 is an important, busy and exciting year, full of opportunities to learn both inside and outside of the classroom. Our Year 5 teachers, Mr. Jones and Miss Akin, look forward to helping the children become the best that they can be. Throughout the year, children will learn through a variety of topics including Groovy Greeks and Top of the Pops. They will take part in Forest School activities, visit the Grand Theatre to watch a production of Shakespeare and travel along the course of the River Wyre as part of our Rocking Rivers topic. Takeover Day sees the children taking over all the adult roles in school and follows the Year 5 careers day where they will learn more about the world of work.
