Tuesday 16th June
Here is today’s Learning at Home. Remember, to try your best! We believe in you! #BoundaryBelieves
Today we would like you to concentrate on your handwriting and letter formation. Practice writing your phase 2 and 3 tricky works. Make all your letters are formed correctly. If it helps say the letter rhymes out loud to help you remember. When you have practiced the tricky words get an adult to test you. Can you spell them all correctly? Which ones do you need to keep practicing? For a challenge you could write some sentences using your tricky words e.g The cat was sat on the mat. Can you underline the tricky words you have used using a coloured pencil.
Follow the links to your daily phonics lesson. Remember Mrs Farley/Mrs Clark’s group is clip 1 and Mrs Casey, Miss Valient and Mrs McAllister is clip 2.
We are going to be recapping our 2D shapes. Go on a shape hunt around the house, garden or even on your daily walk. What shapes can you see? Can you name them? Describe their properties to a grown up e.g. it has 3 straight sides and 3 corners.
Follow these links to play the shape monster game https://www.topmarks.co.uk/early-years/shape-monsters Draw your own 2D shape monster. What different shapes could you use for the different parts of its body? Label the monster using the different shape names.
