     Morning Home Learning Activities

  • Morning Maths – For today’s learning please login to My Maths https://www.mymaths.co.uk/. You will find activities to complete in the homework area when you login. We will be able to see your answers and marks, please make sure you reply to every question and click submit at the end so it saves all your answers. You can attempt these tasks more than once, so if you want to try and improve your score you can. On Seesaw we have also set some small Maths challenges recapping skills learned throughout the year. Today’s its all about fractions.
  • English Writing – Log into Seesaw click on the task ‘Tuesday 14th July Reading into Writing’. This is your last week of being in KS1. Very soon you will be joining Year 3! It is time to start thinking about your goals for next year and what do you want to get better at?. On Seesaw I have given you a template of some of things you need to think about. Please write these out in your home learning book,  writing today’s date and the LO provided.
  • Guided Reading – Please login into Seesaw and click the activity called ‘Tuesday 14th July – Guided Reading’ then record your written task in your English Home Learning Book.

Afternoon Activity

Please login into Seesaw  and click the activity called ‘Tuesday 14th July – Squiggle Activity’. Your task is to turn the squiggle on the page into a picture. Once you have coloured your picture. Write 5 sentences in your home learning book describing what it is and how it can do.

Don’t forget to take pictures of your work when asked to and upload them to seesaw so Miss Ward and Mrs Fielding can see the fantastic work you’ve been up to. If you have any questions or queries, please email Miss Ward (teacherbirch@boundary.blackpool.sch.uk) and Mrs Fielding (teacherelm@boundary.blackpool.sch.uk) who will be more than happy to help.
