Thursday 26th March

Here is today’s Learning at Home. Remember, to try your best! We believe in you! #BoundaryBelieves

School Website – The first activity, which we would like you to have a go at today, can be found on the school website. If you click on ‘Pupils’ in the green box at the top, scroll down to ‘Kids Zone’ and select ‘English’ and you will find Dance Mat Typing. You should all be familiar with this from school. It is a great way to improve your typing skills.

Seesaw – Please then complete your 3 activities on Seesaw – You should all have your log in details and we are enjoying seeing what you are doing. When completing the crossword on medieval times, you can find lots of extra information at This is a great website, which all Year 3 children have used in school and has lots of fun facts and quizzes to complete. Your maths task is all about pictograms, which we looked at in class. Please count the tallies carefully and remember that if there are 4 lines and another line crossed through, this equals 5! You can then colour in the number of boxes or use stickers on Seesaw to fill the boxes. When writing questions about your graph, remember what we did in class. One of your questions might be “How many more people like dogs than cats?”

Spelling Shed – Finally, we have set you a spelling and maths task on Spelling Shed – Please spend at least 30 minutes on each of these.

Reading – Once you have completed all of these, we would like you to access and continue reading for at least 30 minutes. You can read alone or with someone else and discuss the story with them.
