Phonics Click here and learn the i_e sound with Mr Thorn, then log into seesaw and complete the sound activity.
Challenge – can put the i_e words you have just learnt into a sentence. Write them in your book or voice record them on seesaw.
Writing – Food – Yesterday you wrote a list of foods you ate the day before. Today you need to think of 5 of your favourite foods and describe them. Log on to seesaw to read about Mrs Hopwood’s favourite foods.
Complete the writing challenge in your busy book. Remember to write at least 5 sentences and include capital letters, finger spaces, full stops and the words ‘and’ and ‘because’ Take your time to say words out loud slowly to hear the sounds you need. Take a photo of your writing and upload it to seesaw.
Maths – Numbers to 100 Click here to count to 100 while exercising. Log into seesaw and complete the challenge. Some numbers have disappeared from my 100 square, can you fill in the blanks? Next log into your MyMaths and complete todays challenge.
Reading – Log in to oxford owls and read one of your books. Record yourself on seesaw telling us what you did or did not like about the book and why.
Parents you can log onto Oxford Owl and create an account – it is free. Then search for E books, and choose phonics level 2, 3 or 5 depending on you child. Your child’s phonics level is also in the letter information pack you received.
Chosen afternoon activity – Choose your own activity from the list and complete it in your busy book. Feel free to send us any pictures on seesaw of your learning.
