Please read the attached PDF carefully which provides full details on all of today’s activities. A brief description has been provided below. Remember you all have the necessary log in details required. They are inside the front cover of your home learning books.
Morning Home Learning Activities
- Morning Maths – For today’s learning please login to My Maths https://www.mymaths.co.uk/. You will find activities to complete in the homework area when you login. We will be able to see your answers and marks, please make sure you reply to every question and click submit at the end so it saves all your answers. You can attempt these tasks more than once, so if you want to try and improve your score you can.
- English Writing – Log into Seesaw click on the task ‘Monday 6th July Reading into Writing’. Today you are going to create a fact all about you for your new Teacher in September to read and learn more about you. I have attached a template with the basic questions and information you could include. However, I want you to write it as a letter format writing a series of sentences about you, this way you can include more information and detail.
Remember to include as much information as possible about you so your new teacher can get to know you. You can discuss things like;
What you’re looking forward to? What are you afraid of? What you enjoy about school? What type of activities you prefer? What do you enjoy about school?
Remember to write today’s date and the LO: A letter to my new teacher.
- Guided Reading – Please login into Seesaw and click the activity called ‘Monday 6th July – Guided Reading’ then record your written task in your English Home Learning Book.
Afternoon Weekly Project – You have been working really hard over the past few weeks, therefore this week is going to be a fun Art week. We are going to set a range of different Art activities each day to keep you busy. These will involve drawing, colouring and some handy craft work. All these activities will be assigned through Seesaw and can be completed using the tools available.
Don’t forget to take pictures of your work when asked to and upload them to seesaw so Miss Ward and Mrs Fielding can see the fantastic work you’ve been up to. If you have any questions or queries, please email Miss Ward (firstname.lastname@example.org) and Mrs Fielding (email@example.com) who will be more than happy to help.
