I know some of you have been baking over the last couple of weeks, so that’s what todays writing task is about.
I hope your kitchen didn’t look like the one in this picture! (Download todays home learning document at the bottom of this page, to see the picture)
What is happening in the picture? Can you write six sentences about what you can see? You could write about what you think the children are baking and why, why you think it is such a mess, how it got such a mess, where the children are and why there are no adults.
Maths Task 1
To learn to read, write and say the days of the week and know what order they come in. You could make a poster to help you remember what order they come in. Do you know how many days are in a week? What do we mean by the word weekend? How many days make up the weekend? How nay days do you usually go to school for?

You have been sent your own personal login via your email address (which is on your home learning letter).
Log in to Oxford Owl and read one of your books. Record yourself on seesaw telling us what you did/did not like about the book and why. Lots of new books have been added to the website recently. Which one are you going to choose?
Parents you can log onto Oxford Owl and create an account – it is free. Then search for E books, and choose phonics level 2, 3 or 5 depending on you child. Your child’s phonics level is also in the letter information pack you received.
Chosen afternoon activity
Choose your own activity from the ‘afternoon activities table’ in your home learning letter, the new afternoon activities sheet sent via email or the new list posted on Seesaw last week and complete it in your busy book. Feel free to send us any pictures on seesaw of your learning.
In addition to the above, we are also adding daily tasks to Seesaw which I know a lot of you are enjoying completing. We love seeing your videos, pictures and completed work – Please keep sending them to us JCompleting any work on Seesaw allows us to provide feedback on how you have done and give possible next steps.
