Friday 27th March – Home Learning – Platform 1
Here is today’s Learning at Home. Remember, to try your best! We believe in you! #BoundaryBelieves
Firstly, I want to say a huge well done to all of you that have been sending me updates. I have been absolutely blown away by how engaged you’ve all been with the work I’m sending out – a thank you to your parents for their support too!
Hi team, I saw this post from Chester Zoo and thought you may enjoy watching them today! Ask your adult to help you as you access it through their Facebook page. I’ll be watching too, enjoy!
Reading into Writing
For our Reading Into Writing today, we’re going to continue to look at the story Supertato by Sue Hendra and Paul Linnet.
Oh dear! The rest of the frozen peas escaped from the freezer and tried to rescue Evil Pea from the jelly but now they’re stuck too! Can you hatch a plan to rescue the peas? I know Evil Pea made some bad choices but now is our chance to show him how to be kind.
Write your plan and draw a picture. I have attached a template for you at the bottom of this page if you have access to a printer, if not you can write your plan in your home learning workbook.
Today’s maths continues on the work from Thursday on fractions. Watch the video below and answer the questions at the bottom of this page. If you’re not able to print the activity, have a go at writing/drawing over it on your iPad or laptop etc, or you can discuss each question and answer with your adult.
As you’ll see on your Seesaw logins, I have set up some specific tasks for you all on Spelling Shed.
